High Tea @ Madame Patisserie, Boat Quay

Madame Patisserie is a high-tea restaurant serving exquisite pastries and beverages to go with. It is located at Boat Quay - in the heart of Singapore's CBD area - and surrounded by the scenic Singapore riverfront.

Went to this place for high tea on Sunday afternoon together with my hubby with the Groupon deal that I bought somewhere few months back.

They have indoor and outdoor seating, both of which are comfortable and overlooks the Singapore river.

Nice design of menu cards

I ordered their signature high tea set with a pot of tea

My hubby ordered the All Day Breakfast Ham & Cheese

The place was rather quiet, so we took our time to have a relaxing high tea here.

Overall, the ambience and service was great.

Paris Baguette Cafe @ Wisma Atria

My first time visiting Paris Baguette Cafe at Wisma Atria! I was there for light pastries after shopping with my godson on Sunday noon. It was packed and we had difficulties finding seats. This entire place is serve by koreans.

Paris Baguette Cafe, a french-inspired cafe that has its origin from Korea. Located at level 2 of Wisma Atria. It replaced the original Ding Tai Fung area.

They offered wide range of selections of sandwiches, breads, brunch, desserts and drinks for you to choose from.

Unlike most cafes, its self-service ordering system. Customers have to march up to the sandwich/bread/cake counters for their orders, pay at the cashier and self serve to table. Also, the cafe is a free sitting concept, so be prepare to have people looking for seats and looking at you while you are eating, especially when your plate is about empty.

The food was served on a tray with a nice paper.

White Bear Cheese Cake (S$7.50)

Berry Berry Buttons (S$3.80)

Chicken Sandwich (S$8.50)

Apple Pastry (S$4.00)

Mushroom Foccacia (S$3.40)

Overall, everything look so good and yummy! Also, the ambience was also good which makes it a good place to chill out for tea time!

They have opened an outlet at JEM which nearby to my stay-place so it's going to be convenient for me to try other the main and salads which Paris Baguette offers. Looking forward to my next visit!

Happy Halloween & Happy Deepavali!

I have bought the promotional coupons from Groupon which is super value for money. For S$73, I get a 4-Course Premium Set Lunch for Two Pax (worth S$112.99) at Museo after hearing many good reviews on this restaurant.

Since the coupons going to expire soon (valid till 6 Nov 2013), I've took one day leave on Friday (1st Nov'13) and bring my hubby together.

This is the first time I visited MUSEO, pronounced "Moo-Zay-O", which means museum in Italian. It is located at Quayside Isle on Sentosa Island, next to W Hotel. Thou getting to the location was not convenient, not a very public transport friendly place but it's definitely worth going there for meals. :-)

Lovely place with an unique environment. We were impressed with the ambience.

We really enjoyed the presentation of everything brought to the table! Everything is so artistically presented.

High Tea @ The Courtyard (Hotel Rendezvous)

One of the things that I enjoy the most (since I am a TAURUS), is to appreciate good food! So today, I decided to head out and try something different that I never did before.

English High Tea!

Personally, at first I was quite surprised that the portions looked really small, but surprisingly, after finishing the sandwiches, topping up at the end to finishing the dessert felt really filling! So, definitely, my taste buds have been well satisfied!

The ambience was great! Plus the service was amazing! I kinda liked how the service manager actually took the time to introduce what each of the food is (name wise), and what it is made of!

Lastly, if it was night time, looking up at the decorations hanging above, with the star filled skies, it would have been icing on top of the cake for me!

I got this amazing deal through alldealsasia.com, so if you wanna check it out, the promotion might still be available.

P.S. I almost forgot to mentioned! The food was amazing! That's the entire purpose of being a foodie right? My hubby had such a great time, I wished I captured his facial expression when he tried the food!

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!
