MUSEO @ Quayside Isle, Sentosa Island

Happy Halloween & Happy Deepavali!

I have bought the promotional coupons from Groupon which is super value for money. For S$73, I get a 4-Course Premium Set Lunch for Two Pax (worth S$112.99) at Museo after hearing many good reviews on this restaurant. 

Since the coupons going to expire soon (valid till 6 Nov 2013), I've took one day leave on Friday (1st Nov'13) and bring my hubby together.

This is the first time I visited MUSEO, pronounced "Moo-Zay-O", which means museum in Italian. It is located at Quayside Isle on Sentosa Island, next to W Hotel. Thou getting to the location was not convenient, not a very public transport friendly place but it's definitely worth going there for meals. :-)

Lovely place with an unique environment. We were impressed with the ambience.

 We really enjoyed the presentation of everything brought to the table! Everything is so artistically presented.

I've actually make the reservation one month ago.We arrived on dot for our 1:30 reservation. We get the sofa seats next to the windows with a splendid view of the marina littered with lavishness yachts.The entire environment really make you feel like you on holiday.

We have a great time at this place. The food was an excellent, service is good, atmosphere is very hip and artsy. Everything was artistically presented and looked very appetizing.

Would recommend this place if you are planning for a romantic getaway!

Shabu Shabu @ Azmaya, Robertson Quay

Invited my friend to Robertson Quay to try Shabu Shabu on Thursday night which I bought the deal from Groupon, an authentic Japanese Shabu Shabu restaurant located at Robertson Quay.

Shabu Shabu is a Japanese hot pot with thinly sliced meat and vegetables and served with dipping sauces.

One important thing having Shabu Shabu when cooking the meat is never overcook. Enjoy the meat accompanying with goma (sesame) sauce. Perfect! Yummy!

Dessert

Can't really tell what is this dessert make of but it taste really amazing and refreshing!

The food and service was just as good. A good place for gathering and get along with friends.

I got the deal from Groupon, S$48 for 2 person (worth S$114) and only end up paying S$8.10 for the service charge and GST. This my first time been to Robertson Quay and I was amazed to see so many restaurants in the area. Will go back again to try out other restaurant!

Liberty@247 @ Beach Road

TGIF! Friday night outing with friend!

Got this dining voucher from StreetDeal S$35.90 for 2 pax (worth S$81).

Liberty@247 is just 5 mins walk from Bugis Mrt, located near Arab Street area.

The places is elegant, interior is chic and classy with dim romantic lighting, and have a artsy bulbs hanging down from the ceiling. My friend and I are attracted by the cosy and relaxing ambience of this place.

(Top right): For my friend, he choose Chicken and Friends (Special processed chicken breast, bacon, onion and melted cheese) with handmade hot melt cheese sauces dips.

(Bottom left): For me, Cajun Dory Roll (Fresh pacific dory fillet wrapped pencil asparagus with mixed veg) with handmade mushroom sauce dips.

(Center): Liberty Green Salad.

Side Dishes

Chicken Nuggets & Seasoned Potato Wedges

For beverage, I ordered a glass of red wine from Chile which recommended by their staff.  For my friend, he ordered half  print beer.

Overall, we spend about S$40 plus for the additional beverage

If you want  to find a nice place to chill out enjoy the weekend with friend, this is really the favorite hangout place to go!
