Happy Dongzhi Festival!
Before our Chinese New Year approaching, we have another celebration. We will making and eating tangyuan (汤圆) or balls of glutinous rice, which symbolize family reunion.
Was celebrating Winter Solstice Festival (冬至) dinner last Sunday (22
Dec'13) with my hubby and his families at Chen Fu Ji located at
Riverside Point, Clarke Quay. My hubby bought this voucher from DEAL.com.sg, S$100 for S$200 dining voucher.
The entrance of the restaurant
An aprons with their restaurant name printed on it. How sweet!
Here comes the foods!

Vegetables were fresh and crunchy.
Oyster Sauce Emperor Vegetable (Medium Serving: S$27)
Hong Kong Kailan (Medium Serving: S$27)
Spicy Diced Chicken with Cashew Nuts (Large Serving: S$36)
The roasted duck skin was deftly curved into thin slices and it was crunchy and full of taste.
Roasted Peking Duck
Roasted Peking Duck Skin Wrapped with Egg
Spring Onion Soon Hock Fish
Not forgetting every Singaporean favorite, Chilli Crab! A seafood dish popular in Singapore and one of Singapore's most iconic must-try dishes.
Sri Lanka Chilli Crab
In total, the bill came to a jaw-dropping S$481.35 (without the voucher) for 6 pax! THE PRICE IS STEEP! After deducted the S$200 dining voucher and end up paying S$281.35 (include the service charge and 7% GST). The crab was the most expensive dish that night.
Overall, we really felt that the meal was not worth that much.
